

Tarayana Foundation, in collaboration with the National Soil Services Centre (NSSC) under the Department of Agriculture, Royal Government of Bhutan, Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, Royal Government of Bhutan, has initiated a pre-writeshop meeting on Sustainable Land Management (SLM) from yesterday. The objective is to consolidate field experiences, lessons learned, and key outcomes to ensure they are well-documented and shared for greater impact.
During the opening remarks, the Programme Director of NSSC emphasized the vital role of documentation in strengthening SLM practices. The Director appreciated the Foundation’s initiative in leading this important process and expressed keen interest in integrating SLM approaches with the Foundation’s activities in the rural areas.
The Programme Director reaffirmed NSSC’s commitment to future collaboration on relevant and impactful initiatives.
