On May 11th & 12th, the team led by Technical Director Dr. Sangay Dorji, Architect Mr. Matej Vacek, and Program Officer Mr. Tashi Tshering, together with the Gewog Mangmi, JDNP Ranger, Tshogpas, and community members, carried out Ecotourism Potential Mapping under Small Grant Project of UNDP COMDEK from Naro Gewog Centre to Mentsiphu. This mountain stretch, rich in diverse medicinal herbs, holds immense promise for sustainable livelihoods and conservation.

Following this, the team continued their work from Naro to Tsholokha, another breathtaking landscape adorned with pristine lakes. These explorations reaffirm the communityโ€™s commitment to harnessing Bhutanโ€™s natural treasures for ecotourism, while safeguarding biodiversity and strengthening rural resilience.
