More than 350 households across six chiwogs in Lumang Gewog participated in hands-on orchard management and beautification training!
In collaboration with the Lumang Gewog Agriculture Sector, farmers learned essential practices like pruning, soil fertility management, organic pesticide making, biochar preparation, and beautifying their surroundings to boost livelihoods and tourism opportunities.
Our farmers’ positive feedback and enthusiasm inspire us to continue supporting sustainable farming practices.
The initiative is part of the “Enhance the Resilience of the Grassroots Communities to Adapt to Climate Change through the Promotion of Agroforestry” project.
