


Over the past week under the Building Resilient Commercial Smallholder Agriculture-BRECSA, the Sanam Jabchorpas successfully conducted farmers’ training across Chhudzom Gewog (Sarpang), Drakteng Gewog (Trongsa), Bjoka Gewog (Zhemgang), and Tsirangtoe Gewog (Tsirang), equipping farmers with innovative practices in #smartagriculture, #smartlibestock, and mushroom cultivation.
Highlights from the training:

: Under the smart agriculture initiative, farmers received training in various practices, including vermi compost production, natural pesticide application, root treatments, sustainable land management, seed banking, polyhouse & orchard management, and preparation of biochar.

: Under the smart livestock initiative, farmers received training on natural manure production, liquid fertiliser, organic pesticides, and cow dung/waste management.

: The farmers received practical training to diversify income and food sources.
