A model Roof top Rainwater Harvesting system was installed at Tsirangtoe village in Tsirang District.
This community faces acute shortage of water, both drinking& irrigation . The community members have to travel for two-three hours to fetch drinking water. This initiative is also a part of the follow up activities for the FK exchange participant (Namgay). Close to 100 households in the same district will benefit from similar water harvesting system through the upcoming “Climate-resilient Water Harvesting for Rural Areas” /NAPA project funded from the Least Developed Countries Fund (LDCF) managed by GEF. facilitated by UNDP.
