The staff has grown from 2 in 2003 to 15 in 2007, making it necessary to have transparent processes in place to ensure accountability and good teamwork. A strong need was also felt to revisit the strategic plans, operation schedules and overall systems analysis in preparing for the next five years. A five day retreat is planned from Jan 4 - 8, 2007. Review of progress to date, future plans, distribution of workload and ironing out implementation bottle necks will also be undertaken. Systems analysis as well as lessons learnt in the first five years will be used to simplify processes and improve efficiencies. It is also imperative that Tarayana look forward and be prepared for a rapidly changing poverty scenario. posted on: 2007-11-21 Intensive Training of Youth in Volunteerism for Rural Community Development A two week training workshop is planned for the development of Youth in Volunteerism for Rural community Development.
