The Field Officers of Tarayana Foundation were active participants among the 16 attendees at the recent three-day training on Climate-Smart Agricultural Technologies (CSA) held at the Agriculture Research and Development Centre (ARDC) in Bajothang, Wangdue!
The training, organized by the European Union’s Technical Assistance for Agri-food Systems (EU-TAAS) project and FAO Bhutan, equipped the Field Officers with cutting-edge technologies like biochar, Azolla, bokashi, and much more!
Here’s the exciting part: upon returning to their respective stations, the Foundation’s Field Officers took immediate action and demonstrated their initiative by constructing a Bamboo Vinegar Chamber at the Bhutan TSHAR Institute at Kalapang, Mongar. They also took the lead in training the Institute’s staff to operate it!
Bamboo vinegar will revolutionize our practices, serving as a natural biofertilizer, biopesticide, fungicide, and weedicide! This means a greener, more sustainable future for farming, with eco-friendly solutions at the heart of it all.
